In charge of the display .this year was Mis. O. N. Haley. . . - Lace covered tables holding the jnany arrangements were placed about the room. In the center of the room was a miniature garden with a bird bath and live parakeets. The sweepstakes prize, a copper dish ideal for flower arrangements, was won by Mrs. Irene Hartley. Fern Davis won the special prize, a cake made and decorated by Mrs. Clara. Bold. Some of the members attended church and Sunday school at the Ashland Methodist Church Sunday morning. A Joint potluck picnic with the Ashland and Men ford Guild followed Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Butler's Memorial Band Shell. - The social meeting was the first time the Southern Oregon District nas gotten together for good fel lowship and fun.
