W A four- day manhunt through the rugged northwest Georgia hills ended Wednesday when two fugitive kill ers of a U S. deputy marshall sur rendered meekly before the guns of a national guard squad. With them. In the woods when they were captured was a guard whom they'd seized as u hostage after the killing last Saturday. He, was unharmed. Although the men were armed there were no shots fired and the surrender came quietly when a squad of national guardsmen came on the trio in a wood- on the Bramlett farm only about three quarters of a mile from the point where the slain marshal's car was abandoned last Saturday.. The prisoners are Herbert SEARCH DROPPED ' LONDON UTI ' The search for survivors of the 10-engine U.S. Air Force atom bomber which plunged into the sea west of Ireland last Wednesday has been abandoned, the Air Force announced Wednes day. GENEVA, Switzerland (m Dr. Nathan Goldmann of New York has been elected president of the World Jewish Congress. The Polish-born American has served as acting .president of the organization since 1949. Dr. Goldmann was chosen for a four-year term this week at the closing session of the congress meeting here.
