The peas were bought under a

Forty Bodies

bodies of 40 persons who died In
an Idaho plane crash last winter
have been removed from the
mountainside against which the
craft smashed.
Thirty-seven veterans returning

For the consumer this means
that a downturn in pork produc
tion, which began 18 months ago,
will continue' at least through the
spring and summer of 1954.
Reflecting this reduction, hog
and pork prices have been running
more than a third higher than a
year ago. The decline in pork
production followed a eharp drop

Total meat supplies are averag
