CINCHED Kimura's two free throws cinched . It was a whistle-accented game with 54 fouls being called, 35 of them on Oregon Tech. As is so often the case with the new one-and-one foul rule, the Ashland team won from the charity stripe. They made good on 35 free throws, although lagging behind Oregon Tech in field goals, 23-27. The Owls dumped just It Irom the foul line. Kimura and Keefe scored more than half of Southern Oregon's points. Kimura, the stocky bossman and playmaker for the Raiders, finished with 24 points; Keefe had 23. But 21 of these points came via the gift route; Kimura had 10, Keefe 11. All the more fabulous then was Wyatt's performance of 29 points. Only seven came the free way. It hurt the Owls when Thompson went out on five fouls midway in the second quarter. The big bov was hounding the backboards and doing a fall job of stopping Keefe.
