Mr. Andrew Loney Jr.. pre sented bis annual Christmas musi cal program. Klamath Union High School Girls Chorus directed by LiMir K. Jensen, sang. "Ye Watchers and Ye Holy Ones," 17th Century German melody; "Little Lamb, Who Made Thee." John Torest; "No We Sing Thy Praise," Tschesnoroff; "Palapan," Burgundian Carol; "Jingle Bells," arranged by Joe Brye ol Oregon State College. Klamath Union High School Or chestra directed by Walter Smith. "Cavalier Overiure," Isaac; "I'll Be Home for Christmas," arranged by Walter Smith; and "Sleigh Ride," Anderson. Mrs. Hoagland, pres ident, read the names 01 the club s 39 past presidents and gave many interesting mgm.snis on eacn. Mrs. W. 6. Wordcn was the first president and her secretary was Evelyn Applegate, her treasurer, Mrs. Alex Martin. Mrs. .George Myers and Mrs. George Lindley are the only moth er and daugnter presidents to serve In the club. Mrs. Lindley served for two years, 1927-28 and Mrs. Myers, 1938-39. Past presidents in attendance and .Introduced to the club were: Mrs. Ruth Bathiany, Mrs, Coral Sabo, Mrs. R. P. ElUngson. Mrs. Walter Brown, Mrs. L. Falmertoo, Mrs. Dean Osborn, Mrs. L. F. Carter, Mra. George Lindley, Mrs. Horace Gets, and Mrs. A. O. Roenicke. Mrs, Don Zumwalt, our present music chairman, has worked In the Library Club since 1K6 and Jwt missed being one ot the founders by a few months. The club room was beautifully decorated In the Christmas theme by Mrs. A. Ivan Thompson. A birthday cake xorated with 1904 1952 centered tne lovely tea table. Pouring were Mrs. Coral Sabo and Mrs. Don Zumwalt. Hospitality chairmen of the day were: Mrs. . O. Jsckson, Mrs. Andrew Loney Jr., and Mra. Charles Gilbert. The next meeting of the club Will be held Jan. 12, with Dr. Elmo Stevenson, pres. of Southern Ore gon College, as guest speaker. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter C. Bergman, the bridegroom the son of Mrs. Harriett Yordy. The double-ring ceremony was read by candlelight at 4 p.m. Sun day afternoon by Rev. Msrvis Key ser in the Tulelake Community Presbyterian Church. Two hundred guests arxr relatives ot the young people were present. The Rev. Dwayne L. proett. pas tor of Peace Memorial Church, Klamath Falls played Incidental or gan music before the ceremony, the oria.il marches and was accom panist for Mrs. Dave Bridge. Klam ath Falls. Mrs. Bridge former well known vocalist of Tulelake. sang "Because-1 "I Love You Truly" and during the vows, "The Lord's Prayer." The bride, given In marriage by her father, wore a white chiffon velvet gown, made with sheer yoke outlined with lace applique, seed pearls and silver bugle beads. The full skirt fell into a full length train. Her fingertip illusion veil' was nem wttn a peari-irimmea Ju liet camp. She carried a white orchid on a white Rainbow Bible. Mra. Patrick Kenneally. the for mer Sara O'Keeffe. bride of this fall, matron of honor, wore a floor length frock with red velvet bodice made with low round neck, brief sleeves and full red net skirt. Mitts and little round cap of velvet matched her frock. Her flowers were white chrysanthemums cen tered with polnsettia and tied with matching gibbons. carol Moore, luieiaxe, Joyce Morgan and Janice Plummer. both of Roseburg. wore identical frocks in white velvet and net. with Juliet caps and carried the same flowers. junior attenaants, Kappv Staun ton, Tulelake, and Maryetta Frost Macdoel, niece of the bridegroom were in red. Ushers were Ralph Yordy, broth- VENTURE CLUB The Klamath Falls Venture club Christmas Party waa held at the borne of Edith Plerucclnl, 3854 Sum mers Lane Tuesday evening, Dec. It, 7:20 p.m. Hostesses for the evening were Ann Ltndskog and Edith Plerucclnl. Red and white carnations and red candles were used for the table centerpiece. Games were played In theme with the holiday season. The club's advisors from the Sor optlmlst Club, Vera Powell and Beth Orlggs were special guests. Regular members attending were Betty Champagne, Ann Coey, Mar ilyn Hemlngsen, Gertrude Hoef fler, Audrey Brattz, Lena Parsons. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Bergman chose a soft blue silk shMitung suit with black ac cessories and shattered red and white carnations at the shoulder. Mrs. Yordy, mother of the bride groom wore a brown ensemble with rhinestone trim, brown accessories and a red and white carnation cor sage. A reception in the church parlors followed the ceremony. The four tiered white wedding cake with red poinsettia and white rosebud trim was served by Mrs. E. Webb Staunton. Tulelake. Mrs. Jott Dean, Merrill, sister of the bridegroom and Mrs. Dale Norton, Trinity City. Calif., aunt of Del bert, after the bride and bride groom cut the first slice. At the punch bowl was Mrs. Mat tie Garrison, maternal grandmoth er of the bride. Baker. Ore. Pour ing at the coffee service waa Mra H. B. Smith, Tulelake, cousin of the bride. At the guett book was Myrna Horner. Portland, the bride's room mate at Lewis and Clark College. Margaret Takacs and Sally Thom as, home from the University of California, Berkley were in charge of the gift table. Assisting about the rooms were Polly Haynes. home from Oregon State and Lucille Ward, home from Lewis and Clark. For traveling, the new Mrs. Yor dy chose a gray checked suit with red topcoat and accessories and her orchid at the shoulder. Following a wedding trip to Los Angeles and points south, the young couple are at home in Tulelake. Both are graduates of Tulelake high school and the bride attended Lewis and- Clark for two years. Out of town guests were Mrs. Fred G. Meyer. Mrs. Mary A. Bov le. Portland. Mr. and Mrs. H. T., Frost, Macdoel and Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Frost. Keno. Mr. and Mrs. Staunton were hosts at a rehearsal dinner the night preceding the wedding with Mr. and Mrs. w. H. weitkamp as assisting hosts. The buffet supper table was cen tered with an arrangement of bronze chrysanthemums. Thirty guests were present. Saturday noon. Mrs. George Fischer honored Gay and her at tendants at a prettily appointed luncheon. LOVELY GAY BERGMAN, Tulelake, daughter of Mr. and Mr.. Peter C. Bergman, became the bride, Sunday, Nov. 30, in four o'clock ceremony in the Tulelake Community Presby terian church of Delbert Yordy. The brideqroom it the son of Mn.
