Paul Mullanix returned Sunday evening from Cresswell, Ore., where he had gone to help his oroiner, wno was injured recently. Ivan Ottoman spent last week in Tacoma, Wash., attending business matters. An enjoyable three weeks vaca tion trip to New Mexico. Okla home, and Texas was made by Mr. and Mr. Franc Taylor, me Taylors returned borne over the holiday weekend and brought back with them Mrs. Taylor's father, Ed Morgan. Mr. Morgan's home is in Oklahoma. Mr. and Mrs. P. O. Wilson are visiting in San Francisco with their daughter and husband of that city. Mr. and Mrs. George Retterath spent Thanksgiving at Red Bluff with the John Retteraths, a broth er of George's. Mr. and Mrs. Carlo Cornett and family were in Klamath Falls for Thanksgiving at the Marshall Cor nett home. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Halford or Fort Klamath visited friends, in Malin last week Mr. and Mrs. rv Drewelow are vacationing in Sacramento this weec. Marc la Kenyon. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmont Kenyon. celebrat ed her 10th birthday anniversary Saturday, Nov. 29 by having a group of her little friends m for a slumber party. Those enjoying the oirtnaay ceieorauon were: Olynna Sue Wetherby, Donna - Micka, Phillis Derrah and Cathy Kenyon. The Jerry Lyons family spent Ttiansgiving in Eugene with Mrs. iiyons relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hs louse k and sons spent the Thanksgiving week end in iteamond witn relatives. Leslie Martin was home from the University of Oregon to spend Thanksgiving with his parents, the Lee Martins. Mr. and Mrs. MiUigan and Har vey returned this weekend from Nebraska, where they had been for the past two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. William Mullanix of Paradise. Calif., visited recently 1 with their son and family, the Paul Muiiamxs. Mr. and Mr. Emit Tofell and sons enjoyed a trip to Stockton over Thanksgiving vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Halousek and sons returad Monday from Port land where they had spent Thanks giving with Dick's mother and sis ter. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Burgess and family of Eureka, Calif., were In Malin for Thanksgiving visiting at the home of Burgess' sister and family the Enoch Petraseks. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Petrasek and Terry Lee are vacationing in Eastern Oregon and spent Thanks giving with Mrs. Petrasek's broth er and family, the Jack Coxs of McNary City. Bill Rajanus, Ivan Petrasek. Rudy Jelinek, Vince Zumr, Sr. and Mervyn Wilde were among those who attended the bull sale In Medford last weekend. The Ted DeMerritts had a fam ily get-together at Thanksgiving with their daughter, Joanne, and ...their son. Ted Jr., and wife home from college. Other college students home for the holiday were Arby Paris, Paul Mlcka. Sun Miller. George Ra) nus, Jean Rajnus, Jean Evans and Ronnie Stephens. Mark and Merle Evans and Mil dred Schmidll motored to Moraga, Calif., over Thanksgiving to visit with the Evan's brother. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hamilton returned this week after a two weeks trip, which took them to Ash land, Central Point. Grants Pass. Medford, and Cave Junction where Mrs. Hamilton made official visits to American Legion Auxiliaries. Also before returning home they purchased a new car. The Malin Chamber of Com i merce will hold a meeting Mon- da, Dec. 8 at 8 p.m. at the Malin Fire Hall. AU members are urged to attend. Fort Klamath By MYRTLE VYIMER Mrs. Harry Orem returned Sat urday from Portland where she re cently underwent arm surgery at St. Vincents Hospital. Her children. Gary and Anne, have been cared for by Mrs. Orem s aunt at the ranch home. The showing of moving pictures by Clarence Ward of Klamath Kails will be a special feature of the community Christmas tree and program Sunday evening. Dec. 21. at the church. Subject of the pic ture will be appropriate to Yule tide season and of special interest to children. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. McAul iffe and children, Geneva. Jackie and Ambrose left Nov. 24 for their winter home at Red Bluff, Calif, The children who have bu board ing pupils at Sacred Heart Aca demy in Klamath Falls will enter school at Red Bluff. Accompanying the McAuliffes was Timothy Kenneallv. employed locally and in Red Bluff by the McAuliffe cattle operations. John Mullanix was released from Klamath Valley Hospital Nov. 22 and is recovering satisfactorily. He and his wife left Nov. 30 to spend the winter in Eugene. They were accompanied by Mr. an Mrs. Rob ert Taylor. Tavlor and Mullanix are brothers-in-law and,were part ners in timber falling for Modoc Lumber Company during the log ging operations which recently closed until spring. Halford has been employed on the Chtloquin division of the Oreson Stt High way Department and has been transferred to the Fort Klamath patrol.
