of Dec. 1 cannot be paid," Saalfleld

ganisations. More than 123.000 applications
from living velerana or survivors
of deceased veteran-, have been
filed, leaving an estimated 7,000
eligible recipients who have yet
to apply.

and SIS for each month of foreign
or sea duty to a maximum of
1000, to veterans who were bona
fidt; Oregon Residents for one year
prior to their World War II aerv
ice.
If the veteran died In service or
following discharge, his unremar

To date, nearly 106,000 veteran
and survivors have been paid the
