The fact that 43-year-old timber

of timber west of here. Two fallers
working nearby. Floyd Boling and
Ober Brown, had just felled an
unusually long snag, which crashed
down on Mullanix, striking him on
bis right side and Inflicting serious
injuries. Including broken ribs and
a punctured long. (Had he been
standing be would have been
struck on head). Fellow workers
kept him In an upright position
against a tree until Ksler's ambu
lance arrived from Klamath Falls,
as he was unable ta breathe lvlne
down.
At this writing, nearly a week
later, the injured man Is still
not able to lie In bis bed at Klant
ath Valley Hospital, but is re

full extent of his Internal Injuries
will not be determiner) until he is
able to lie down, when more X-rays
