A letter was read bv Ruth Ray from Mary Jo Meacham who Is In training at the Sacred Heart Hos pital at Eugene on a scholarship given by the Klamath Soroptlmlst Club. Maud Coeller, chairman, re ported on the Christmas project lor sending gifts to a sister Soroptl mlst Club at Brlghten-Hove, Eng land. It was voted to send Care packages containing complete Cbristmss dinner with turkey, also some pine cones from Klamath for Christinas wreaths and decora tions with Christmas cards and greetings from each member of the club here. Alice Lamm read a letter from Mra. Richard Maxwell, chairman of the Volunteer Service Croups of the local Red Cross Chapter, asking for donations for Christmas for the service men at Camp White and the active service men who will be on the high seas on Christ mss Day. The Klamath Club con tributed 25 for this cause. Kathleen Thompson announced that the blood bank would be here very three months Instead of every month and that each service club should send six people to donate blood. LADY EAGLES TURKEY DINNER Lady Eagles and their guests braved the first snow storm of the season Nov. 12. to attend the tur key dinner In the FOE basement. The organization was hostess to about 75 members and their guests. After dinner the regular meeting was held In the Upper Hall, when it was decided that the auxiliary would "adopt" a service man. The young man chosen Is at present in Korea. All Lady Eagles wishing to wTlte or send him gifts may get bis name and address from Patricia Henry. 4341. The new membership "bowling campaign" is in full swing and will continue through January. Team csptalns are Hildred Burris and Lorna Groves. Special prises from the local auxiliary and dis trict are offered for winners In the membership drive.
