When he first arrived here, the Rev. Anderson surveyed the pro- posed ares and found an estimated 800 non-church families. The church was established in Shasta School, where services are stil being held. Last May the congregation was officially organized with 64 charter members, and shortly afterwards began seeking a per manent pastor. Their choice was the Rev. John M. Recher Jr.. Sioux City, la., who is to become the first official pas tor of the church. The Rev. Recher i is expected to arrive here in time to preach Sunday. Nov. 16. The Rev.
