October 23. when Mrs. Eldon M. Brattaln, local postmastrr and president of the group, w as bostesa tor the third 1843 get-together of the Association, in the C. E. Club house in Fort Klamath. Preceding the business session, those present enjoyed a baked bam dinner, prepared and ecrved by members of the Civic Improve ment Club. Ihe theme of Hal loween was carried out In dining room decorations, combined with a prolusion of bright autumn leaves and colorful blooms placed about the room. Table decor In cluded a centerpiece of gladioli and arrangements of fall flowers, Willi Individual Jack o'Lanlern favora marking ech place W kerping with the predominating Halloween molll. ' Following the business session, a very interesting talk was given by tha guest apeaker, Harry C. Parker, naturalist at Crater Lake National Park, who entertained the gathering with an outline ot his duties with the Park service. Ouesl prlr.es were given to Bo nanta postmaster D. D. The attendance was amaller on Saturday evening than at a simi lar affair held here last April, probably because of opening week end of duck and goose hunting.
