were steady to 50 cent down for
the week.
The Agriculture Department at

cutting Christmas trees on the
Klamath Indian reservation, ana

Earl Wilcox, reservation forest
er, said the contracts are . being
made to enrolled Indiana, at 5,000
each. The tribe will get 25 cents
per tree.
Wilcox said Uie past two damp
winters on Uie reservation have
ruined thousands of Christmas
trees, making them grow long
spike tops and out of proportion.
