Cattle were also strong to weak. steers and heifers being on th off side and cows on the up side. Sheep were steady. Most sales of butcher weight hogs were at 818.60 to S18.75. Sows gen erally made 816.75 to 818.00. Choice and prime steers orougm 830.50 to 834.75 end a part-load of prime yearling eteers moved at 835.50. Good and choice heifers were worth 825.50 to 831.00 while cows topped at 821.00. Choice to prime native lambs continued to fall within a $24.00 to $24.50 bracket. In the plane were Everett Logan, Yakima seivice station operator, and his bride of six weeks, 19-year-old Pat Logan, An extensive aeiiul search, launched Sunday morning by civilian and Air Force planes, con tinued today, . The Yakima searchers, headed hv Henry Sotsenberg. a Yakutia. used car denier and Logan's friend, arrived here yesterday. Besides Sotsenberg, the group Includes nine volunteers tram inkima. Late yesterday, the 10 men had a brief look at tho Lake of the Woods area but darkness prevented extensive searching. This morning led bv Dan Emrlck, of the Klnm- ath Air Search and Rescue Unit. the Yakima men went to mvesti- unte a broken tree ton spotted by a search plane flying over Hnyden Mountain, ine tree migni nave been hit by the missing plane. If the plane Is not tound by to morrow evening, the Yakima crew and a KASRU party plan to estab lish ground searcn bases at Lake of the Woods and on Dead Indian Creek, some six miles west of the lake. .Heavy timber and under growth in those areas might easily conceal plane wreckage which could not be spotted from the air.
