Each month a woman's group of a Klamath Falls church takes a birthday cake 'to someone at the Nursing Home. Peace Kiis For Children Klamett) Falls Council of Church Women will sponsor a World Com munity day here, Nov. 7 starting at 2 p.m. in the First Methodist church. All church women are asked to take a "Packet for Peace" to the .meeting, thus sharing with the des titute children of the world some of the bounty of America, with children who can become builders of tomorrow's peace. "Packets of Peace" should be made up of used clothing in good condition for children up to six years of age, including- warm un derwear, sweaters, snow suits, sim ple dresses and coats for girls, pants, blouses and coats for boys. Layettes for newborn babies are also badly needed and could be assembled by groups working to gether. These should include re ceiving blankets, kimona.s, gowns, diapers, baby shirts, socks, rubber crib sheets, quilted crib pads, bath towels, face cloths and mattress sheets.
