JH Possibility of reviving the Far West League was being explored Thurs day by representatives o! five major league baseball clubs. The majors are Interested in re- instituting a Class D circuit in the West so as to have a place to send young, developing players. Reno and Las Vegas, Nev.. Interests are here to talk over the situation with representatives of Chicago and Cleveland of the American League, and Boston, Brooklyn and Pittsburgh of the National. Some cities mentioned for Pos sible operations are Klamath Falls, Medford and Eugene. Ore., Reno and Las Vegas: Redding. Anaheim, Fullerton and San Bernardino, Calif. Oregon Tech Holds Shoot The Oregon Tech range will be the site of the school's first rifle and pistol shoot of the season Bun- day. The Oretech Rifle and Pistol Club invites all shodters whether rlflers or with a pistol to compete for the prizes that will go to all winners. The win over the Cavemen gave Medford an option on the district title In a three-way wrangle be tween Klamath Falls, Medlord and Grants Pass. LOOKS GOOD Medford's win over Grants Pass 'looks particularly good s 1 n cc Grants Pass boumrd back with a two-touchdown win over Heading. The Shasta Wolves, in the Nor thern California city Is the only team to turn back the Pelicans, by a convincing 28-0 count. So, if this is to be Klamath's return to power forecast by some, the Pelicans will have to get over both Medford tomorrow night and Grants Pass Oct. 31 there's an open date in between to quality for the state playoffs. This is the big one for both teams, in which the season's re cord are of little more use than filling the program with Interest ing Information. A case In point Is last year when the Pelicans fielded one of the most Impotent teams In Its his tory. They were expected to be lambs led to the slaughter against Medford. When 48 minutes of loot balling was over, Klamath Falls had a 13-12 victory, one of only two wins in a lack-lustre season. Medford squeaked by Ashland, 13-12, in addition to its victory over Grants Pass. Its losses are to Vancouver, Wash. (13-34) and Marshfield (7-41). Springfield tied the Tornado, 13-13. INJURIES Although Injuries have taken a larger whack at Medford, Klam ath Falls won't go into the game with clean bill of health.
