Lakl Garden Club met Mon day September 8, at the home of Mrs. Joe Meeker, with a large attendance. Tne meeting was opened by Mr. John Mistier, president. Vice President Mrs. I. W. White, read an interesting paper on the history and description of lilies. Mrs. W. M. Williams gave an In teresting talk on the care of dahlia bulbs. An interesting period was spent with the showing of slides showing lilies with explanation by Mr. Charles cucera. A bulb and seed exchange fol lowed. There were several lovely flower arrangements and one dish garden. The next meeting will be October 13, at the home of Mrs. E. John. on. Henley District, with co-host' esses, Mt. A. Z.
