cult because of a forest fire which
was burning northeast of Beatty.
The tribe okayed enrollment ot
17 youngsters born of Indian par
entage and turned down the petit
lions for enrollment of three others
of one-eighth blood who are living
in Germany.
A referendum vote In July oi
dered the tribal rolls closed as of
July 30, 1959, and the tribe yester
day voted to instruct its enrollment
committee to screen birth certifi
cates very closely from now until
mat time.

Cascade Lakes la the month of
tieptemoer, and this year nailing
may be at Its beat In those back
woods areas.
The High Cascade Lskea we'll
talk about are those stretching
iroin the primitive area a eat ol
Upper Klamath Lake, along the
summit ot the Cascade range and
on north from four Mile lake.
In that area of gem-blue fishing
waters, the flail don't coma natur

plenished periodically by the Ore
gon State Game Commission. Last
