Everett Chase, 2430 Apple- gale Street. Aim of the group will be to cleanse and strengthen minds through application of Christian principles. Sackett, West Coast publisher and radio station operator, Fri day announced plan to file appli cation for television stations in Wslla Wall, wssh., and MedXord, Ore. Sackett said the applications, to be filed within 10 day, will seek Communications Commission au thority to build a 5.000 watt very high frequency transmitter at Walla Walla and a 500 watt VHF frequency station at Medford. Both stations would telecast on channel 4. Sackett, who will head both cor porations, said equipment contracts have been signed. He estimated thai the Walla Walla station would cost S400.00O and the Medford sta tion $330,000. Thd applications will ask approv al of the call letters KMTV for Medford and KWTV for Wall Walla. Sackett' said. Sackett owns the Coos Bay. Ore., Times, and radio stations KOOS in Coos Bay. KROW in Oakland, and KVAN in Vancouver, Wash.
