Everything about a dessert of this type is easy . . . it's easy to prepare, easy to serve, and easy to eat. It's a family style dessert that can be dressed up for guests with the addition of several sprigs of parsley or lresh mint. By serving fresh oranges for des sert, you'll be contributlne valu able minerals and vitamins to the daily diet. For years, oranges have been known as one of the richest sources of vitamin C the vitamin that cannot be stored in the bodv. As this vitamin has to be reoleh ished daily to assure- you of youthful energy, sound teeth and gums, oranges are important for good health. Recently, nutritionists announced that fresh oranges are an excellent source of protopectins. These protopectins aid in digestion and help you absorb a greater share of essential food elements from all foods you eat. These re markable substances are found In the meaty solids of oranges. There fore, it is more important than ever to eat whole oranges. Most people prefer to pick up an orange and eat it in the hand. Cool to room temperature. Add orange juice, lemon Juice and tour cups water. Stir until lemon Juice Is completely melted. Freeze In re frigerator tray at coldest point until firm, stirring occasionally. Makes 10 cups. To serve, spoon Into tall glasses, garnish with orange slices. WISE.
