Molvin "Andy" Anderson of Mac doel will be employed by Boyd Pitt-1 man of Yreka for the County Weed Spraying throughout the valley this summer. The sprayer is mounted on a truck owned by Floyd Mur ray. Maggie Criss and sons have fin ished their new corral that they have been working on for the past three weeks. The rodeo setup is of genuine interest to the communi ty. To add Uie final touch Sunday a few calves were run in and roped. Darrell Garey rode a steer. The corral Is about an eighth of a mile through and consists of bucking barriers, large arena, catching pens and loading shoots. Jack Swank is having the roads dozed out to Medicine Lake this week. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Whitt were Sunday callers in the Wayne Hol brook home. Mrs. Holbrook is now home from the Children's Hospital in ban i-Tancisco convaiesmg al ter a major operation on her eye. She Js under the treatment of Dr. Farley of Klamath Falls. She will have about six weeks more of treat ment. Mrs. Georgia Tapp left Macdoel this week after driving the Mac doel School bus this past school year. She will make her home in Klamath Falls. Those attending the Junior Horse Show in Yreka. Darell Garey, Mrs. Bud Stevenson and Barbara enjoyed dancing to Jimmy Dorsey's orches tra at the armory in Klamath Falls Tuesday evening. Jimmy's guests were this years queen candidates for Klamath Round Up. During the evening Margie Browu, last years queen, made Jimmy part of the western theme by putting a west ern silk tie around his neck. " Friday of last week Mrs. Charles Thompson was operated on in the Yreka Hospital. She is reported as recovering satisiactorily. Kenneth Holbrook caused much excitement in Macdoel this week when he arrived from his ranch the "Old Yokem" place with a 43 inch rattler, 10 rattles and a button. Mrs. Mattie Naokes.
