He blew into town Tuesday and did quite a Job of backing for the general. Last night we hod a real honest to goodness candidate for the presi dency Estes Kefauver. He was do ing his own job of pluckuig votes lrom the grassroots and the Demo crats. ,. ... Enough has been said on both ihu (limit the Dolitlcal affiliations. beliefs, promises and what not of the candidates that I don't th'nk well have to go into it deeply here. About the last political remark for the year: I think it would be a good idea to vote for Uie swim- minz pool issue. Tne pool as presently drawn up and pictured on the architect s sketch is not final. Nor is the site of the pool nailed down to any definite place. Both these can be changed. All we need for a start is the initial money to get the thing under way. After the money is secured, which won't hurt you as a taxpayer, final plans can be made to give our children a place to swim.
