Mrs., H. 1 L. Robertson waa gen eral chairman and ahe and her committee members carried out a "Colonial Days" theme In decora tions and costumes. ' Mrs. H. C. Shockey, decorations chairman, used huge multi-colored nose-gays- and streamers for the background In the room. Tallies were cleverly decorated with hand painted silhouettes. . Twenty-three tables of cards were In play-with a prize for each table, hjgn and low alternating. - Door prize, was won by Mrs. L. Y. Coatel. . The Town Shop arranged a love ly arched flower bedecked trel1 ' through which the atyle show rr--els appeared. Commentary by Mu. Keith Moon described the wearing apparel on each model as they pro ceeded, down the ramp. - . Background music was played by 'Mrs. Orinan Olldon during the style show. Bringing the styles nearer' to date, a 1920 chiffon formal belong ing to Mrs. Thomas, was modeled by Mrs. C. E. Leithoff. Another 1020 style was represented by a black velvet evening dress and hat belonging to Mrs. T. E. .Walters, and wom by Mrs. J. R. Rhodes, Mrs A. R. Modeled a 1936 Paris model of her own. ' To, climax the "old fashioned' parade. Beth Chase modeled - an early 1900 model bathing suit fol lowed by Dorothy Lowell in s Bi kini suit. . ,. During the tea hour Mrs. Dick B. Miller Sr.. past president, and Mrs. Winston Purvine, president, poured.
