April 23, the BioUiers of the,-Butte Valley High School basketball players give their second 'annual basketball banquet. The Club Cafe was reserved for the affair , and the boys and their guests' gathered at seven o'clock to partake of a bam dinner with all the trimmings. - -. . - The school colors of maroon and gold were- carried out with yellow daffodils and tall maroon tapers. The table decorations were ar ranged by Mrs. Flora Reeves with flowers donated by herself. Mrs. Myles Farmer of Dorris and the Kane Street nursery of Klamath Falls. A huge cake donated by Mr. and Mrs. Bruitt Smith of the Frontier Motor was cut by the trophy winners. Coach Piunlti awarded two new trophies, one to James Miller of the A quintet for sportsmansiup. This was the Dalton Yokum Me morial tophy donated this year by Mr. and Mrs. Aldan Fenwick. Jay Motscbenbacher was awarded the Egeline Trophy,- also for Sports- manshiD. This was donated by Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Egeline. Don Kempke was given the tree throw award medal. Guests of the boys were Princi pal Barry Beck and Coach Piuniti. with Mr. and Mrs. Egeline and Aida'n Fenwick as dessert guests.
