Timber Strike
Trouble Eases
by The Associated Press
The effect of the CfO Woodwork

for the first time at Spokane and

reached agreement with its 1.000

Wash., which said It was ready to
start separate negotiations with
the CIO.
Henry Bacon, Seattle a com

temporarily withdrawn Its negoti

A union spokesman said separ

operators, Including eight near
Forest Grove, Ore., had signed up.
The union struck Tuesday after
negotiations with employer organi
