toward a settlement arouses enor
mous European Interest.

charges of mismanagement of the
bureau resulted in a finding that

and corruption existed in the bu
reau. Later Forbes was indicted by a
federal grand Jury on charges of
conspiracy in connection with hos
pital contracts. He was convicted
and sentenced to two years in pris
on and fined $10,000.
