OREGON ' if 1 HERE'S A NEW WAY TO satisfy a sweet tooth . . build a cookie-candy house . . this one was put together by Mrs. William Georgescn, 2243 Reclamation for Mrs. G. B. Simmons, 514 Mitchell. A plain cookie recipe was used for the house . . the roof is chocolate chips, the fence is "chicken bone" candy and flowers are colored gumdrops. It's all edible ex cept the Pricilla curtains at the windows. Quilts Smart Women Like The "Quilted fashion" i s ex pected to hit a new high, carrying over from spring into summer! This fashion has really "caught on" women like it! It was not de signed only for cold weather a survey shows that women prefer it in the south even in warm weather. Quilted dresses, jackets, and vests are designed for every oc casion sports, afternoon and eve ning wear. Capes, coats and eve ning wraps are being added to many of the spring and summer lines. You can find Just about anv com bination of fabrics in this fashion that you want.
