In the cattle section, slaughter
steers and heifers sold steady to
60 cents higher. Cows and bulls
advanced 50 cents to $1.00 but veal
crs plunged $3.00 to $3.00.
Lamb prices continued to deUine
this week. Closing top of $29.00 was
a new low on the winter-fed crop
and the lowest since October, 1950.
Prices were about $10 under the
same week last year. The dressed
lamb market moved sharply low
