No one was injured. MODEL UNCOVERED Secretary of the Army Frank Pace (left) and Sen. Joseph C. The gun was one of several secret weapons models taken to the building to be viewed by senators studying the armed services budget. The models were shrouded in white cloth and guarded by mili , tary police. No details were released about the anti-aircraft weapon. Eagles Plan Orphan Party The only Klamath Falls "war orphan' to come under the Fra ternal Order of Eagles Memorial Foundation, which cares for wid ows and children of World War II veterans killed in action, will get a birthday party Saturday after noon at the FOE lodge. Seven year-old Walter Ambroget ti and his classmates at the Mills second grade will be feted by the local Eagles and Auxiliary under the Foundation plan. Walter Is 'the son of Mrs. Ed Ybarra. His- father, Walter Am brSgettl Br., was killed in action while flying over England as a tall gunner on Sept. 17, 1945. The Eagles of the United States Pioneer Community By VERA CLEMMENS Mr. and. Mrs- Marten Parsons spent the weekend at Ashland visit ing the Fritchards who were for mer residents here. They returned Sunday evening. The Parsons' granddaughters, Sharon and Diane Bringle, spent a few days- here while their par ents Mr. and Mrs. Dale Bleha made a trip to Eureka, Calif. L. Frains this week. Mrs. Erwin Heim is at home ill with the flu this week. Mrs. Harold Simmers stopped enroute to Medford to spent a few days with tier daughter. Mrs. Or ville James. John Everhart has just re turned from Japan where he -has been with the Air Forces there -the past three years. He, his wife Betty, and their three children have been visiting with his folks Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Everhart at Lindley Heights.
