There were no reports of any

soup lust month. It usually gets
100 cusps of that variety.
A "soup shortage" was reported
In Longvlew Wednesday.
The Continental Can Company
said In Portland the tin shortage

going on for more than a year

brighter.
The non-seasonal soups being
squeezed out of the cans by the
tin shortage can be packaged in
other ways and consumers will still
be able to get them although they

shortage of some soups Is far
more serious than one that devel
