lector, said most of the small

vantage of a 3 percent liscount
for full payment by November 15.
That Is the date first-quarter
payments are due and full tax
bills must be paid to be eligible

of the fall tomorrow night at the
courthouse circuit, court room.
The group Is to 'organize for the
coming election campaigns, elect
officers and select delegates to the
state Young Republican conven
tion to be held In Portland No
vember 30-December 3. Old mem
bers of the organization and pros
pective new members are asked
to attend Thursday's meeting.

school carnival Friday evening.

A hilarious parody on the radio
program "The Whistler" was pre
sented by the eighth grade. Jim
Barry was the announcer.
Accordion selections were played
by Jackie Barry.
Several hours of fun followed
the program. Each booth did a
land office business especially the
QAA food stand.
