Chrysler, with its ItiO-horsepower V-8 engine, current ly has the most powerful engine in any standard car being built. Chrysler also has power steering and advance braking. The power steering device and the recently announced Bcndix power braking are scheduled to be olfercd by the makers ol some 1D52 model cars. NASH Among the so-called "independ ents" Nash probably will have the most significant design changes. But they aren't hkcly to be un covered much before next April. All the other car makers, of course, will have changes to boast about In their new models, but their changes will not be tadicat. Same, like Hudson and Studebaker. made significant engineering changes in their power plants only last year. Hudson's Hornet model had a widely acclaimed new six cylinder engine, giving high compression performance on "regular" gaso line.
