It announced yesterday that 30. 000 men drafted or recruited under the l4g selective rervlce act will be given choice of four alterna tive 1. Take a release after 11 months' duty and enter the reserve. 2. Complete 11 months ot active S. Stay tn service for a total of 13 months, after which they need not join the reserve. 4. Accept a discharge "for the con venience of the government," and then enlist tor a full term in the regular army.
