Late Chest Returns Awaited The Klamath County Community Chest campaign u in the final mop ping up staae and a number ol firms have not as yet been heard from, according to Chrt Hamakrr. chair man for this year's campaign. It la vitally necessary that these firms be reported as soon as possi ble so that the campaign can be closed and the amount of money raised be announced. Spirit ThU year's campaign owes much of Its success to the public spirit shown by a number of local firms and organisations. For Instance, the Toastmaster's club and the Toast mlstreu' club hsd 'speakers avail able for any firms that wanted to use them. The report were audited Hie Oregon Association of Pub lic Accountants. The California Ore gon Power company not onlv put our banners up, but wlih The Klam ath Palls Creamery sponsored the report luncheon for county day. OTI made the silk screeiu for window stencils, applied by Boy Scouts. It' would have been Impossible to even have a campaign without a headquarters and publicity. Batst Rrrs supplied office space and The Herald and News and radio sta tions KFLW and KFJI gave us a great deal of publicity and kept the people of Klamath county Informed as to the progress of the drive. The chest office has been moved to location of the Camp Fire airls' office, and those workers who still have material are asked lo bring their reports to the Camp Fire air Is' office, above the chamber of commerce.
