Nov. 24 M" President Truman has named John F Floberg. Chicago lawyer and wartime navy combat officer, as sistant secretary of the navy for air. Floberg. 34. succeeds to the va cancy created when Dan A. Kim ball was elevated to undersecretary ot the navy. His recess appointment was announced last night. It is sub ject to confirmation by the senate when congress reconvenes. Floberg Joined the navy one month before Pearl Harbor. During the war he served In the North African. Sicilian and Saler no operations, later moving to the Pacific theater. Before he went to Inactive duty June 11. 1946, he had been promoted to lieutenant commander. Too Foggy to Test Fog Disposer LONO BEACH, Calif, Nov. 34 (JP) It was too foggy for a test ot a fog disposal machine at the munici pal airport Harry Langdon, San Diego Inven tor, has a Jet blower which squirts chemicals to knock out the tog. He also has a twin-engine Cessna plane which lands and takes off at fog bound airports to prove the effic iency of the fog disposer. Yesterday the pilot became fog bound at San Diego, some 120 miles south of here, before he could take off for this airport, which also was wrapped In the white stuff.
