O. : N .11 IS-No. MA Well, friends, here It Is Saturday again, and only thirty-seven day. leit till Christmas. But that Isn't why Chuck Miller' picture Is head ing tills column. The reason la this. Here It U Saturday and probably you are thinking of stepping out tonight. Bo why not drop Into Molatoree and listen to what I consider the top. In e n t eruin mrnt. Yep, that', right, the tops Chuck has real ly got an enisl ing voice. Ask him to do any type of number, tango, samba, blues, or novel ty, and he really doe. s fine Job of It. I dropped Into Harry Mola- tore'. eatery the UKDERHILL other night Just to make sure If all I had been hearing about Chuck wa. true. And believe me It l. The .mlllng easy going enter tainer ha. a marvelous range to his voice. He never .train, no mat ter how low or high the note and that la Indicative of a good linger. What', more. Chuck hu an amaz ing versatility of repertoire. He nev er seem, to ilng the same song In the same way more than once. What really got me wa. the way he did a rendition of "Oalway Bay." I have been sold on that song ever since I heard Bing Cros by recording of It. Ouess It must be the Irish In my blood. But when I heard Chuck do It I dropped a few sentimental tear In my un salted beer. And for kicks, ask for a rendi tion of "The Saga of Dangerou. Dan McOrew." It', the funniest novelty tune that I have heard In oulte some while. So. neighbor., in, see you over at Molatore' tonight.
