Yreka C eremony Read in October At a four o'clock ceremony at the Methodist church of Yreka, Call., Mla Nell Lindbergh, daughter of Mr. and Mm. Carl Lindbergh of Klamath Falls, became the bride of Harold K Briscoe on Saturday, October 31 The groom la the ton of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Briscoe of Orreley, Colorado. The young couple stood before an altar banked with bankets of yellow chrysauthernuma and palms and lighted with yellow tapen. The Rev. Hartzell E. Huckuer. pastor of the church, read the double-ring service In the presence of more than fifty relatives and friend of the pair. The bride walked down the aisle In traditional white aatln, the gown fashioned with a sweetheart neckline, long sleeves, tapering to a point at the wrist, a full skirt and long train. Her fingertip length veil of Illusion net trimmed In lace tell from a heart shaped tiara of stiff aatln edged with myrtle sprigs, for good luck. Rhe carried an arm bouquet of deep red roses. The bride's only sister, Mrs. Ver gil Nelson Urls Lindbergh), was ma tron of honor. She wore a floor length frock of pink brocaded aatln with full gathered skirt, short puff sleeves and a high round neckline above an Inset of net on the bodice. She carried a heart shaped bouquet of ruffled tulle, deep rose carnations and tlephanotls and wore a heart shaped tiara of matching carnations In her hair. Bridesmaid was Mrs. Shelbert Rhodus (Alice Eastman! of Cres cent City, and formerly of Klamath Falls, who wore a gown of pale yellow brocaded satin fashioned alone the same lines as that of the matron of honor. Her heart shaped bouquet waa of tulle, lavender car nations and ttephanoltt and the tame flowers were carried out In In her tiara. Vergil Nelson of Yreka was best man. Ushers were Paul Layman, Pete Hedberg and Henry Meyer, all of Klamath FalU. Harold Vlckert. the organist, played Logengrtns's wedding march and Mendelsohn's recessional and accompanied Charles O'Donnell, who sang "The Sweetest Story Ever Told" and "O. Promise Me" Just before and after tha wedding cere mony. "The Lord's Prayer" was played by the organist during the marriage rites. A reception At the church followed the wedding with the bridal party, and the mother of the bride receiv ing. For her daughter's wedding Mra. Lindbergh chose a floor-length gown of pearl grey. A corsage of talisman rosea waa pinned at her shoulder. A beautifully decorated three Uer cake, centering the long table on which were placed long white candle In silver candelabra, was cut by the bride. The cake was served by Mra. Eugene Werner of Klamath Falls. Mrs. Pete Hedberg of Klamath Fall presided at the coffee urn and Mra. Henry Meyer, was tn charge ot the guest book. Assisting about the rooms were the bridesmaid and Mrt. Axel Jacob son of Klamath Falls. The wedding party and parent of the bride were served at a table centered by a flower arrangement of yellow and bronze chrysanthe mum and candle In crystal candel labra. Entertainment was provided by Brent Hedberg who tang a Swed ish wedding aong and hi younger brother, Rudy, who played two vio lin solos, accompanied at the piano by his mother. Shortly after the reception at the church, a buffet smorgasbord waa served at the Yreka home of Mr. and Mrs. Vergil Nelson to the wed ding party and guest, most of whom had motored from Klamath Falls. The newly weds left Saturday eve ning for a ten-day honeymoon trip to Colorado where they visited the groom's parent and other relatives w ho were unable to attend the wed ding. For traveling, the new Mra. Briscoe wore a black wool gabardine suit with black accessories. Her Jewelry wa a matching pin and earring set, a gift of the groom and her corsage wa of red rosea.
