Friends were happy to hear that Vernon Haley. IS, did so well at the Pacific Livestock exposition. He was winner in a special heretord Judging contest, exhibiting his calf, "Scramble." which he won at last year' show. It weighed 300 when he caught it in the ring, and weighed 1060 when taken back this year outranking all other. He won a purebred heifer. He also won first in showmanship in his division.
