Make thee an ark of gopher wood: And, behold. I. even I. do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, and every thing that is in the earth shall die. But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee. And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every aort shalt thou bring into the ark. to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female. And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with them. Into the ark. because of the waters of the flood. Of every thing upon the earth, there went in two and two unto Noah Into the ark. the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah. And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth. And the flood was forty days upon the earth: and the waters in creased, and bare up the ark. and it was lift up above the earth. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail: and the mountains were covered. And all flesh died that moved upon the earth: all in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. And Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him ta the ark. And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days. And the ark rested in the seventh month, upon the mountains of Ararat. And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen. And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark and he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro. until the waters were dried up from off the earth. Miss Hunt will sing "Be near me. Father" by Pelton. Hugh Paul, organist, will be the accom panist. The chorus choir, under the direction of LaMarr Jensen, will present the anthem. The Rev. Martlndale Woods, pas tor, has chosen for his theme, "The Adventure of Faith." Third In Serjea This Is the third In a aeries of messages on the subject of faith. Each sermon deals with a particu lar phase or quality of religious faith. The last two messages have dealt with the increasing sense of futility in modern American lite and some ways to combat this. The message for this 8unday will deal with the only known remedy which has been tried with success In the past and the means of put ting it to work on society today. The Intermediate Youth fellow ship meets at the church at 5:30 p.m. with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Oatke as advisers. The High School Youth fellowship will meet at the church at 6 p m. for the beginning of a progressive evening program in which members will go from one place to another for each part of the scheduled activities. Church school meets at :45, Sunday morn ing with classes for all ages. Anderson will speak on "The Way of Life,' at the Bun day morning worship service at Klamath Temple. Bunday clause for all airs will gather at 1:46 am. Parents and children are welcome. 1 Naiarenes Strive For Attendance Sunday October 16 is the closing wic revival at tne Naza rene church, which began October 5th. Special emphasis in the Sunday School is a large attendance. The thought deals with the "General and Speci al Rules" of the Manual of the Church of the Nazarene. At 7:30 Rev. Hooker will be m-eachina- the closing message of the Revival. Membership, Schulze's Sunday Topic "Our Church Membership will be the sermon topic of Rev. Vic tor A. Schulze, pastor of the Zlon Lutheran church.
