Both British and American a I r craft regularly use Helgoland for lire bombing practice. Helgoland was a Nad submarine and anti-aircraft base during the war. The third air division said this was the first accident Involving a B-60 sine the 43rd group of these craft arrived August It from their Tucson, Arix, base. Bcott, e"T. In Corv sills October 11. Mr. Scott lived In Klamath Falls and In other basin communities sev eral years ago and was once sup erintendent of logging for the Chtlo quin Lumber company. Death came following a lengthy Ulneaa. Mr. and Mrs. Scott moved to Corvallls where they purchased a service station and saraae only a few weeks ago. Before (hat time. they made their home in San Bern ardino, Calif. Funeral services and Interment will be In San Bernardino Monday, October 17. He la survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. J. B. Bpencer of San Bernardino, and two brothers, Oeorge and Earl of Baker.
