New Wheat Rated 'Only Fair' PORTLAND, Sept. 10 JP The new wheat developed at tha Ore gon Stat college experimental eta- tlon at Pendleton may not bt released for general use. Tha wheat, called "uma." waa rated only fair in cake and cookie baking testa by tha Pacific North west Crop Improvement associa tion. Two wheaU developed at Washington State college were given good to very good ratings.
