Both Mr. and Mrs. Matthews were treated at Klamath Valley hospital for facial cuts and were released later in the day. ' Mrs. Lotches. a passenger in the car driven by her husband, was treated for knee bruises and cuts and also released. Another passen ger in the Lotche s car. Plane Searches The VS. coast guard said an ar my plane already had left San Juan, Puerto Rico, for the location given a point due east ol the mid dle section of the Bahamas group. The message Indicated the fliers were alive and relayed from" the Italian marine radio which picked up a blind message. The coast guard said the blind message said: "Alive drifting near Bahamas. Sept. 29 iPy Some 1JO0 tons of albacore tuna, caught off Japan, were being unloaded from the refrigerated ship Tinian here today. The Tinian. owned by the Columbia River Packers association, arrived here with the first cargo of Japanese tuna since pre-war days. Wasson Arrested For Non-Support Frank H. Wasson. wanted here for non-support of his wife and chil dren, was arrested at Astoria yes. terday when he stepped off a fish ing boat just docked from a two month cruise tn Japanese waters. 8heriff Jack Praney said Wasson would be returned here for prose cution.
