Norman Alexander, Barbara Dunlavy, Rod Davis, Harold Totten, Violette Rob inson, Sharon Oienger and David French are on the committee with the two freshmen, Sharon and David, the only new members. Otherwise the committee stands as It wws last year since they know the functions of the committee. Junior and senior boys interested In being Traffic Squad members filled out application blanks re cently. The boys who help handle the discipline in the schools will be selected later. . Although It was announced on September 13 that all students In terested In Joining Chess club should appear that night at the regular meeting, through a mix-up the date had to be changed, but next Mon day night will definitely be the night. At that Urns anyone In terested In Joining the club should attend the meeting to petition for membership. Monday, the freshman home economics clothing class will view a demonstration on hair cutting and State Farmers Get $335,000 Federal Fund PORTLAND. Sept. 23 (Pv Oregon farmers will get SMS.OOO more next year In the federal conservation program. That will boost the total for the year to .47.0OO. the state produc tion and marketing committee said yesterday. Clackamas and Wasco counties may become teat grounds tor a new conservation plsn. Instead of treat ing each year as an Isolated unit, the new plan would set up a perm anent Improvement program tor a farm. Payments would be made for the part of the program carried out each year. Matthews Takes 'Rules Jones Plans Station At Bonanza Announcement of a new service station at Bonanza was made here today when W. H. "BUT Jones of Klamath Palls said he was estab lishing business In the neighboring community. Jones will be consignee for all Union Oil products and will wnoie-1 sale to the Bonanza. Jones saw service on Guam. Jones has been with Union Oil as salesman tor the past year.
