I Dale Daugherty will be going In to his second year as football coach of the Owls and the Tecnmen are doing their practicing this year on a new mile-high campus practice green. Oregon Tech's campus is figured at an elevation of 5105 feet ! so the Owls can claim the loftiest college practice grounds In the state. They'll come down about a thou sand feet, to Modoc field, for home games. LAKEVIEW GAME The county football league ot eight teams Henley. Malln. Mer rill. Bly, Bonanza, Gilchrist, Chllo quin and Sacred Heart starts on its round-robin schedule September 34, but a traditional inaugural match will be played September 18 between the Henley Hornets and the Lakeview Honkers at Lakeview. Henley haa long dominated coun ty plgsklnnlng and probably can be counted on to finish at or near the top again.
