VrwtT A LOVELY BRIDE of this summer was Dorothy M, Howry, above, when she became the bride of Robert H. Beach of Jacksonville, Oregon. Dorothy is the daughter of Mr. ond Mrs. C. W. Howry of this city, ond Robert is the son of Mrs. Stella W. Beach of Jacksonville. The ceremony was read Sun day, August 14, at the First Methodist church ot 4 o'clock. The two plan to live in Ashland where they will complete their senior year ot Southern Oregon college. y r i: X," xr V i - i VISITING HERE recently were Mrs. Stanley Biehn, formerly of this city and now of Seattle, and her daughter, Marlcne. The two vacationed here for two weeks with Mr, ond Mrs. John Sandmcycr, sister ond brother-in-law of Mrs. Biehn, her brother Harold Robertson, and her mother, Mrs. C. S. Robertson. Members of the younger set here have had several parties for Marlene. ' if. 1 K Jv ? - MARRIED SUNDAY were Marjorie Ongman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Ongman, and James Conroy, son of Mr. ond Mrs. R. J. Conroy of Lakeview. The two, as shown obove, are cutting the wedding cake ot their reception after the vows were exchanged ot the Sacred Heart Catholic church in a 3 o'clock ceremony. CHARTING THE TRAIL to their new home in San Jose are Dr. ond Mrs. E. D. Lamb. Dr. ond Mrs. Lamb, shown at the left, plan to leave early in September for the California city where he will establish his office.
