Ladies Aid MALIN The Ladies Aid of the Malln churrh met Thursday. July 30 for It inulir missionary social meeting. The president. Mrs. Dick HenseL called the meeting to order and the deroUonals followed. Mrs. Bertil Shogren ni speaker for the afternoon. She chose as her subject "Our Ways of Livlnf." Mrs. Merle Loosely and Mrs. Fred Waltaer were hostesses for the soda hour and serred refreshments to the aereral members and guests. A white elephant sale held durfhg the afternoon added aereral dollars to the treasury. Fancy work was on display and will be sold as any one wishes to purchase pieces. The Aid also has a large supply of com forters which art for sale. Reno Rites Married In Reno on July 2 by the ! Rer. Herbert W. Brown were Mar garet Betsch. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Betsch of Klamath Falls, and Aimer Wallenburn. son of A. J. Wallenbrun. also of this city. They were married in the Glad Tidinits church. For her wedding the bride chose a pink dressmaker suit with white accessories. Their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. George E. Calvin. Following a short wedding trip, they are at home at 524 Owens. Mrs. Wallenburn is an employe of the police department and her husband is with Weyerhaeuser Lumber company. Church Vows Married on July IT In an 11 o'clock ceremony at the First Presbyterian church were Phyllis Jean Braiiham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. K. U Orillm. and Charles Henry Smith. son of Mr. and Mrs. Hasen Smith. The rites were trad by Key. David F. Burnett Jr. The brother of the bride. William Branham. gave her In marriage. Matron of honor was Mrs. James Van Wormer of Fort Klamath, and best man was Mr. Van Wormer. Pur Uie wedding the bride wore a white satin drew with a ruffled sheer white hat. A white orchid was pinned at the shoulder. The matron of honor wore a grey dress with a white hat. For her daughters wedding. Mrs. Urtflln wore a white and brown print after noon dress with matching hat. Mrs. Smith wore a summer aqua dress with white accessories. After a reception at the home ot the grooms parents, the young couple took a honeymoon trip to the coa-st and Portland. They are now at home in this city. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Van Wormer. Fort Klamath. Mr. and Mrs. Art Dunlap of San Lorenao. Calf., and Mrs. E. O. Timme of Alsmo. Calif. . Rainbow TULELAKE Dixieland was the setting lor the annual Rainbow for mal dance held In the high school auditorium Thurxiay night. July 31. Pixies and fairies gamboled over a background of blue and silver. Music was by Morrison and McDonald's orchestra and dancing was from t to 1. Aid Society MERRILL Mrs. Gerald Cobb and Mrs. Eber Kilpatrlck were host esses at a meeting ot the Presbyte rian Ladies Aid society July 30. Mrs. Melvin Bowman had charge of devotions.
