He haa been with tha Klamath Union high school group. The tearhrrs at Fremont gathered recently to give a farewell party for Kdna Russell. They have returned home to Palo Alto where Dick la a senior student at Stanford. An Interesting note to Klamath people concerns Don Beldlng, a former resident and son of Molly Drldlng. Molly, who passed way last year In Long Beach, taught achool here for many yeara at both Fremont and Roosevelt. Don, who waa principal speaker at the Oranta Pass graduation, organized a reunion of hit class for tha occasion, to which almost all of the living members attended. Mr. Beldlng la affiliated with Foote-Cone and Beldlng Advertising company In Los Angeles. Mrt. II. E. Pelti Br., a long-time friend of Molly Beldlng. at tended the graduation of her grandson, Oerald Eager, and reported the Incident. Tearhera off for their summer vacations are taking trips thla week. Olive Wilson Is on a two-week trip to visit with her sister and brothi'r-ln-law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Clumm, In Eugene. Carolyn waa given In marriage by her father and for the ceremony she wore a light tweed suit with white accessories, with a white gladioli corsage pinned to her shoulder. Carolyn's maid of honor waa Wtlma Maasey. Boyd Karrer was best man for Robert. For her daughter's wedding Mrt. Ustick chose a grey crepe afternoon dress. Mrs. Thompson wore a pink gown. The wedding waa held only before the two families, however, frienas were present at the reception whlcn was held at the home. A'uMing at the reception were Mrs. Claude Williams, Bobs sister. Mrs. W. L. Carter, Mrs. Edward BooUiby. Mrs. Carl Neely handled the guest book. After the reception the couple left for a trip to Yellowstone park. Thry will live in Portland. The young bride is the daughter of Mr, ond Mrs. Merle Loosley. Ferebee-Kesaler. Of Mid-June Rites A pretty aummer wedding waa an event at Sacred Heart Catholic church Saturday. Juna 18, when Mavis Kathleen Patterson became Mrs. Bruce Turner Davit. The bride la the daughter of Mrt. Ellen Patterson of this city, and the bridegroom, the ton of Mrs. Dorothy Da via of Portland and George P. Da via of Klamath Fall. Tall tapers, gladioli and delphinium decorated the church, and pewa were marked with white aatln ribbon bows. Ellen OlCeefe sang "Pania Angellcua" and Ava Maria." ac companied by Lovetta McTaggart. who also played the wedding march from Lohengrin aa the bride walked down the aisle. She waa escorted by her uncle. John K. McAndrewa. Rev. Father Timothy P. Casey officiated. Marls' gown was of white eyelet embroidery over white uffeta, made with a fitted bodice and bouffant skirt, with a flange collar. Her long white gloves and the headpiece which held her short veil were of the same saaleriaL Two white orchid and Ulirs-oN the-valley formed her bouquet. Her pearl necklace waa a gift of the bridegroom. Mrs. Richard Slannard of Palo Alto. California, was matron of honor for her sister. Her gown, of white pique, was of a similar fashion, as were those of the bridesmaids. Her flowers were a red and white colonial arrangement, with a small cluster of matching red and white carnations at the side of her half hat. Bridesmaids were Ellen 0Keefe, Barbara Wood. Jean Silliman and Peggy McAndrewa, cousin of the bride. They wore gowns of red candy-striped pique with flange collars. Half hats and short white mitts completed their costumes. The color theme of red and white was earned out In their colonial bouquets and the flower clusters on their hsts. Mrs. Patterson chose a gown of blue lace with a hat of blue with pink trim for her daughter's wedding. The bridegroom's mother. Mrs. Davis, wore a gold dress and natural straw picture hat. Each wore a corsage of gardenias and roses. Best man was Robert Burke, long-time friend of the bride groom. Ushers were Tony Molatore Jr. Richard Stannard of Palo Alto. California, WiUism Bumeas and Dr. Orton Mann. A reception followed the ceremony at the Pelican party room. Presiding at the punch bowl and sening were Mrs. Faye Sullman, Mrs. W. Gauley. Mrs. John K. McAndrews. Irma Wauchope, Marilyn Brandt, Pat Gauley and Mrs. James Perkins. For going-sway, the new Mrs. Davis wore a balenciago suit of travel crepe with a single orchid pinned at the shoulder. Her accessories were white. On their return from a two-week wedding trip which will take them Into Nevada and as far south as Los Angeles, California, the newlyweds will be at home at the Hunt apartments In Klamath Falls. Out-of-town guests were Mrs. Dorothy Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Alexander and daughters. Roxsnne and Machelle; Patty Brown. Jean Silliman. all of Portland; Mrs. W. Gauley and Patricia of Aberdeen. Washington: Mr. and Mrs, Raleigh A. Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Cal Matheson of Oranta Pass: Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wood of Los Angeles, California: Mrs. Rex Olsen and Mary Glenn Olsen of Madeline. California, and Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Stannard and son, Michael of Palo Alto, California. Nannette Goeller p June Bride Nannette Goeller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Goeller, became the bride of Lt. Clifford F. Alexander on June 10 at the I. aval Base Chapel In Balboa. Panama. Chaplain J. M. Crandall . officiated at the pretty candlelight ceremony which was held In the presence of close friends. The chapel was decorated with baskets and vases of white gladioli and fern. Mrs. J. Kirkland, organist, played a program of nuptial selection during the ceremony. Nannette was given in marriage by her father who made the trip to Panama to be present at the wedding. The bride wore stunning suit of beige Palm beach cloth with Kelly green accessories. Her flowers were lavender orchids. Lt. and Mrs. Edward M. Wleseke of West Bank were the only attendants. Mrs. Wleseke wore a suit of turquoise palm beach cloth with a corsage of yellow carnations and matching floral headdress. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was given for thirteen guests at the Hotel Tlvotl In Balboa. Mrs. Alexander received her B.A. degree at the University of Oregon and her Masters at Lewis and Clark college In Portland. She went to the canal gone last September where sha has been a member of the elementary school faculty at Cocoli for the past term. Lt. Alexander Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Alexander of College Station, Texas, where he attended Texas A. and M. college. He arrived at the Isthmus In March, IMS. He is now serving as commanding officer of the P. C.-486 based In the canal lone. The newlyweds vacationed for several days following their wed ding In San Josi, Costa Rica. They returned to the canal gone recently and are now residing at Cocoli. They plan to leave for Charleston, South Carolina soon for a two-month stay. Upon their return, thry will reside on the Fartan Naval reservation. MRS. JOSEPH KELLER JR., who wos formerly Rosl Oss, was wed at a ceremony in the Zion Lutheran church recently.
