Methodist Rites Short There will be a "Unified Service beginning at 10 o'clock Sunday morning at the First Methodist church. June 2ft The worship serv ice and the Sunday school session will be combined for this Sunday. Each department of the Sunday school will have a part in the pro gram. The pastor. Rev. Marttndale Woods, will present an illustrated Bible story with a feltograph pic ture. It is expected that the pro gram will be over before 11:3a The Rev. Woods asks all who attend church this Sunday to come at 10 a. m. as they will miss most of the children's program if they do not get there till the usual hour of 11 o'clock. There win be no further service this Sunday. This give an oppor tunity for all who desire to take a trip for the day to get away before noon. Promotion day is also recog nised at this services, and all who are being advanced to a higher de partment will be presented with certificates of promotion and awards for special achievement. This win be one of the most interesting programs of the church year with the children par ticipating In what might be termed graduating exercises. Any and all who do not owe a loyalty elsewhere are Invited to attend. Sky Pilot Chief To Wind Up Series Rev. Elmer Sachs. Sky Pilot chief will conclude a two weeks' series of special meetings on Sunday, at the Bible Baptist church, J34 Wiard street. Rev. Sachs is the founder and di rector of Sky Pilots of America, a boy's organisation geared to reach and train boys In real Christian Americanism. Sunday morning Rev. Sachs will speak on. "Christian Joy" and Sun day evening on "The Rings of a Christian." The public Is cordially Invited. Tuesday End Slated For Church School "Three Dimensions of God" Is the title of the message Rev. Ed ward Lander will present at the 11 o'clock worship service at the Community Church of the Breth ren. 427 Bristol i off Summers lajiel. The church school will be In reg ular session at 45 a. m. with classes for adults and for children of all ages. A nursery is provided for children up to 4 years of age during the worship service. Friends and neighbors living in the com munity are cordially Invited to at tend all of the services. The vacation church school win enter Its final sessions next Tues day and will close with an all school picnic on Friday morning. On Thursday evening at 7:30 p. m. a program will be presented by the pupils of the school, and all of the parents and friends of the children are Invited to attend. First Baptist To Broadcast The 11 a jn. worship service at the First Baptist church, N. Eighth and Washington, will be broadcast over radio station KFLW this Sun day. Rev. 8. L. Tldwell will spesk on "An Urgent Trip of the Master." Theme for the p m. message win be "Fret Not Thyaelf." Vacation Bible school will con tinue through next week. Hours are from t am. to 12 noon, and all children, three through 18. art in vited. Men's brotherhood members meet very Tuesday at 1:30 pjn and the Women's Missionary union meets at 1 pm, Thursday. Zion Choir To Sing "Loving in Deed and in Truth" will be the sermon topic of Rev. Victor A. Schulse. pastor of the Zion Lutheran church. Eleventh and High, In the regular service of wor ship on the second Sunday after Trinity beginning at 11 o'clock. Special music will be presented by the Zion senior choir. Robert Ste vens wlU serve as organist and choir director and will present a pre sence organ recital beginning at 10:50 a. m. The Sunday school and Bible class will meet at the regular tune, I 45 a. m. During the visual education period a portion of the film. "Pilgrim's Progress" will be presented to th assembly of the Sunday school. All members of the Zion Luth eran church who have volunteered to provide housing and meals for th members of the Lutheran Hour chorus are reminded of these ar rangements. Members of the chorus will arrive in Klamath Falls on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 to pre sent a concert at the Fremont school auditorium on Saturday evening. June 25. beginning at t o'clock. The church sponsored a bus to pick up children from the Algoma, Pelicon City and Wocus districts to furnish transportation to and from Bible school. First Presbyterians To Observe Baptismal Rites The Chrtstisn baptism of chil dren and th presentation of Jack S. Power as a candidate for the Christian ministry will be Included In the service of divine worship at the First Presbyterian church. Sixth and Pine. Sunday at a m. It Is expected that several chil dren will be presented for the holy rue. and It Is felt that all who attend will be keenly interested in the thinking of Jack Power, whose decision to enter the ministry came after many years as a successful public school teacher and adminis trator. He has just concluded s year as teaching principal of the Keno school. He was received as a candidate for the ministry and taken under care of the presbytery of Southwest Oregon st Its spring meeting In Medford. April of this year. He was recommended to the Presbytery by the session of the First Presby terian church of this city. On Friday evening. June 24. the final program and commencement exercises of Vacation Church school will be conducted In the sanctuary of the church. The school has been operated for two weeks, each day from to 11 a.m. under the leader ship of a fine staff, led by Mrs. Oeorge Elliott. On Saturday after noon the school will enjoy Its an nual picnic. Children will receive detailed announcement regarding th picnic. It is expected, however, that parents of the children will be needed to help transport the group to th grounds. The synod of Oregon. Oregon 1 synodic! for church women, and Youth synod for young people will conduct their annual sessions in Portland on June 28. 24 and 30. Representatives from all the churches of Oregon will gather dur ing these days. The local Presby terian church will be represented by its minuter. Rev. David Barnett, by Elders Philip S. Hitchcock, retir ing moderator of the synod, and by Brooks O. Custer. Youth delegates are Bob Southwell. Barbara Custer, Margaret Powell and Joan Fits-water. C. E. Group To Meet Sunday "Resurgence of Fundamentalism" will be the sermon topic for this Sunday's morning worship at 10:50 at the First Christian church. The service will also be one of Com munion. Bible school is at 45 a m. Christian Endeavor meets st 6:30 p m.. and the youth program and song service will be presented at 7:30 pm. At th Utter time, the high school Chrtstisn Endeavor group will direct the service. Rev. C. W. Swope s sermon topic will be. "Reward In Heaven." Mid-week worship and Bible study are at pm. Wednesday. Subject of discussion will be the second chapter of Mark, Rev. Willard To Speak Rev. Billy Willard. evangelist, will speak' 8unday at 145 p m. at the Klamath Temple. He will continue meetings through the week every night except Munday and Saturday. Announcement of his topics will be made later. Sunday school classes will gather Sunday morning at the usual lime, t 45. Primary Superintendent Gladys Ounderson urges alt "round uppers" to be on hand. Morning worship Is at II a m. when Rev. D. B. Anderson, pastor, will speak on the subject, "Perlstent Prayer." The regular Klamath Temple broadcast Is heard on station KFJI Saturdays at 7:30. Rev.
