Lombard Hetedale Ouernney farm. Farmer saw green alfalfa taken from the windrow, run through field chop per, hauled away and blown Into the alio. The field day, sponsored by the OSC extension service and the Klamath Dairymen association was put on to foster an Intereaf In grass and legume allage a well to thow the equipment used in putting up allage. Five make of field chopper were demonstrated. Farmer saw how tach chopper picked up the alfalfa and how well each machine pre pared the forage for enalllng. Several different wagon were used to haul the chopped alfalfa Irom the field, and each waa equipped with unloading mecha nism.
