TULELAKE, May 26 Gconte Mclntyre, the First Federal Savings and Loan, Klamath Falls, will be the guest apenker at the commence ment program for the 8th grade graduates who will receive diplomas Wednesday, May 26. Thirteen girls and 19 boys will graduate. The program Is planned for 8 o'clock In the auditorium of the ele mentary building. H. O. May 26 Dennis McShane has gone to work early in life. Dennis is only one year old but he has blossomed out as a full fledged wage earner. He got his social security card yesterday. He can't walk yet. but he's husky and weighs 32 pounds. But Dennis can swim, and how. He started swimming in the bath tub when he was five months old and, at nine months, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn McShane. put htm under the training of an expert coach. Dennis has appeared in one movie and Is scheduled to start work in another soon. The baby can swim across at 30-foot pool and dive from a regulation diving board. , Tel And Tel Stock Issue OK SALEM. May 26 At Public utilities Commissioner John H. Car' kin Tuesday gave his approval to plana of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph company to sell 601.2K2 shares of common stock for $100 share. The stock issue already has been approved by California. A similar application was filed In Washing ton. Proceeds from the sale will be used to add to the company's system. All of the new stock will be of fered o present holders of preferred or common stock In the proportion of one share of new stock for each six shares of present stock.
