The lovely ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Olvan was destroyed by lire Tuesday evening. Most of the family's furniture and personal be longings were saved by the many friends and neighbors who came to their assistance. Mrs. Hoy Pernlund is home from Hillside hospital where she was itpdcr medical care. Mrs. Eli Ross it also home from Hillside where she spent many weeks because of a se rious illness. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Colobnn and Mr and Mrs. Dan Lovelady spent Mother's Day at Ashland with their mother and grandmother, Mrs. CHorgla Sawyer. The Bonansa PTA will meet at the high school May 20 at 8 p. m. Everyone Is cordially Invited. The PTA is sponsoring a pre-school roundup at the school Friday, May 31 at 1 p. m. Parents who have children who will be in the first I grade next year are urged to brine them for this free health check-up. The county health doctor and nurse will be tn charge. Little Linda McPall returned home from Hillside hospital Wed nesday and is improving rapidly. Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Stiles. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Pool and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Booth, all of Klamath Falls spent Sunday with the Bill Oourley family. Cora Leavitt spent Wednesday with Margaret Dearborn. They visited Mrs. Irene Bechdoldt tn the afternoon, , Bonanza high school went to the district track meet in Medford. May 8. Ralph Womack won second for throwing the discs and went to the state meet at Corvallis. May 14 and 15 Dennis Davis won second for the high Jump and also went to Corvallis. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hodges of Mer rill spent Thursday with their sons. Herman and Jack and families. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Bold and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bray left Thursday foi Tacoma. The gym was beautifully decorated and the girls were very pretty in their formats. Music was furnished by Floyd Joiner's Smoothies. Preceding the prom, the Junior senior banquet was held for about 6$ guests. Friends were sorry to hear that Mr and Mrs. Ern Glvan lost their home by fire Tuesday.
